Confined Space Entry

A confined space has 3 characteristics:

-Is large enough and so configured that an employee can enter and preform work

-Has limited or restricted means for entry and exit

-Is not designed for continuous employee occupancy

Examples: Tanks, Vessels, Silos, Storage Bins
